Mission:

 The Department of  Communications  and Electronics - Faculty of Engineering - October Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology aims to provide students with a high scientific and technical background and increase their research capabilities in the design, development and manufacture of electronic devices and communications systems used in a wide range of applications, The department focuses on three main axes: teaching, scientific research and community service.

The Aims of Communication and Electronics Program

1. The program aims at producing highly specialized professionals in design, development and management in the field of communications and information, who, with a solid foundation of theoretical and professional knowledge and good sense of innovation, are qualified to meet the needs of the social and economic development.
2. The program is given a priority to the development of the students’ personalities and characters so as to ensure a balanced and all-around development of their ethic, intelligence and physique.
3.  A great stress is placed upon the training of the students’ abilities in application, design and development in the field of communication system and communication network, apart from students’ mastery of the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of communication engineering.
4. Graduates of the program should be deeply awareness of ethical responsibilities and dedication to profession and to society, and have abilities in application, design and development in the fields of communication system and communication network.
5. The program meets the needs of industry and society for brilliant engineers who have expertise in research, design, development, operations, manufacturing and technical management in the fields of communications and information.
